Dr. Wendy Zimmerman is the Veterinarian you want to have as your pet's doctor. I have known her almost 3 years and she is the only doctor I would trust with my dog's health. Not only is she knowledgeable with medicine, but she has the personal touch and really gets to know your pet. Dr. Wendy has always made herself available when Sonar, my dog, needed her. She does not "push" medicines or tests to the extreme as many veterinarians do. She becomes your pet's friend and they love having her come to their home to provide her services. I believe it makes the animals much more relaxed being in their own environment.

I recommend her to everyone I know that has a pet, wants the best care possible, and at a reasonable cost. Dr. Zimmerman and her Door to Door Pet Service is a dream come true for me and would be for anyone who wants the best possible care for their "baby".

We first met Dr. Wendy on Christmas Eve of 2005. We had an emergency with one of our dogs and every vet clinic we called couldn’t help or would have charged us a ton of money. Dr. Wendy picked up our call and said it was no problem to come out to our apartment and charged us a very reasonable fee. Since then, we’ve been able to rely on Door to Door Pet Doctor for all of our non-emergency vet needs.

Dr. Wendy is professional, reliable and friendly. Since our dogs know her, we no longer have to worry about that anxiety they used to experience on the way to the vet’s office. Having a vet that does house calls has made our life easier-and kept our dogs healthy and happy.

The love of my life is a 14-year old black lab named "Newt". Last year, he started walking with an increasingly stiff gait. I would cry looking at him not wanting to go on walks like he used to. My traditional vet offered to increase his medications - a medicine that can destroy the liver. Seeking any other less intrusive alternatives, I contacted Dr. Zimmerman. She responded immediately and professionally. She came to my home and evaluated Newt who loved her from the moment they first met.

Dr. Wendy recommended that we try a course of acupuncture on Newt. After several sessions, He walks like a ten year old now, happy to go on his walks, even trotting at a respectable pace for an old guy. He actually pulls on the leash again! He seems happier and more interested in the world around him. Newt lovers his treatments. He'll wait for them on his special spot on the carpet and sighs in relief during the session. He is on maintenance treatment now, just once a month - the cost is reasonable and the benefits outstanding. Best of all, he hasn't increased his medication! I would highly recommend acupuncture to anyone!

Dr. Wendy Zimmerman and Door to Door Pet Doctor have made keeping my beautiful cat Diamond in good health so much easier. Diamond is very fearful of leaving home, and a trip to the Vet was never easy for either of us, but when I heard of Dr. Zimmerman's wonderful service I knew I had my answer.

She is very caring and empathetic and sensed immediately how important Diamond is to me. Her kind, gentle care made Diamond much less apprehensive and I am very thankful for that.
